About cranes, forklifts, driving plates, roller tracks and an emergency power generator

For the past few days, the main topics at smartfood R&D were not predictive modelling, accelerated sensory evaluation or dedicated microbiology for a while. The trending topics were whether or not to use a crane, forklifts, stamping capabilities for trucks and yes, we also talked about an emergency generator because we have to shut the power off for half a day.
We finalised preparations this week to install additional office units and expand our production capacity so that we can continue to grow for a while in our current premises. By mid-September, all preparations will have been completed and from then on we will have extra work places and extra production capacity to facilitate the growth of smartfood R&D again for a while. The limits for growth in our current premises are now really starting to come into view.
