ISO 17025 accreditation smartfood R&D

In the final weeks of 2021, we are proud and happy to announce that smartfood R&D has successfully completed the accreditation process according to ISO/IEC 17025:2017. ISO/IEC 17025:2017 is an internationally recognised quality standard for testing and calibration laboratories.
After an intensive, two-day initial audit, not only laboratory activities but also the overall management and all underlying business processes were assessed. During this audit, 6 minor non-conformities were identified. An exceptionally low number of deficiencies for an initial audit.
The non-conformities identified were resolved to the satisfaction of the RvA (the Dutch national acccreditation body), after which the RvA decided to formally award smartfood R&D the internationally recognised Accreditation according to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 last week.
