This month smartfood R&D introduces several new challenge tests:

  • Challenge test for preservative-free drinks
  • Challenge test for chilled, preservative-free salads with fresh vegetables
  • Challenge test for chilled, preservative-free, pasteurised products

For all these tests we have put together a mixture of spoilage-causing bacteria that represent a specific risk for these products. Thanks to our smart methods for accelerating this type of research, we can quickly provide a reliable indication of the shelf life of this type of product.
